Boho Beach Wedding – Styled Shoot

Way back in March I headed to The Cove (formerly called Secret Seaview) at Robin Hood’s Bay with a fab team of wedding suppliers to create a beach wedding shoot.  We headed on to the beach below The Cove and this is the outcome.

It was absolutely freezing so how our model, Anita, managed to stop shivering I’ll never know!

The Outfit

Anita wore a fabulous Soon dress from The Aisle at Ilkley.  I love the versatility of this dress as it has a plain slip with a lace wrap around layer over the top.  The slip can be worn on it’s own or with the slip and has gorgeous detail on the back too.  A lightweight dress like this is perfect for a beach wedding in any country.

 

 

This awesome, personalised denim jacket added the perfect boho style to the dress.  The Beespoke jackets are made to order so you can choose your words and your embellishments.

 

 

 

The Details

I love personalised items and this beautiful bra from Extra Special Touch is no exception.  How special to have your wedding date embroidered onto the strap.

 

 

 

Jen Eachus did a great job with hair and make up and the incredibly sparkly jewellery was provided by Starbox Jewellery.

 

 

 

 

Anita’s look was completed with this fantastic bouquet created by Vanessa at Wild Flowers UK.  The colours, textures and shape of the bouquet worked beautifully with the dress and jacket.

 

 

 

 

Time to Warm Up

We took pity on Anita after a while and let her snuggle up in the amazingly soft merino wool blanket from King and Eye. These blankets are absolutely beautiful and are on my Christmas list seeing as I didn’t get one for my birthday!!
